The setup at the Oakland Baptist Church with all the memorials and flowers was just beautiful. Handling of the crowd was real nice. Thank you for all you did. You all were very compassionate and understanding. Good job!

When my husband passed away I chose O'Donnell Life Celebration ho.e in Monroe City. Brad was kind and compassionate and really listened to what my family and I wanted. The tribute they put together for my husband was stunning. The service was amazing.

I was amazed at the beautiful tribute the staff created for my husband. It was so personal and perfect. My family and I met with Brad on Monday and he really listened to what we told him about George. The compassion we were shown was genuine and comforting. Words cannot express my gratitude to Brad and the staff at O'Donnell in Monroe City. We met with Brad on Monday and Tuesday evening there was an amazing, beautiful tribute to my husband. Every detail was personal and perfect. I was afraid my husband would look strange, , but he looked so natural and at peace.Thank you seems inadequate.

I was dreading the visitation for my Dad. I'm never a fan of people standing around crying and just the sadness of it all. But from the moment I walked in and saw all the details the staff put into the visitation to make it a celebration of life I was amazed! There were so many things I things I know my dad would have loved! He would have give a big belly laugh at the old wester movie poster staring HIM! The grandkids and nieces and nephews loved the photo flip cards. I could go on and on about every little detail! Definitely an amazing facility to celebrate the life of a loved one! Thank you so much!

I’d like to thank you for the wonderful service you provided to our mom, Lois F. Griffin. We had planned on having a closed casket because mom had suffered so, but after seeing her we decided to leave it open. She looked beautiful and at peace. We were just amazed at all the little details and everything you had set up to celebrate her life. Every member of your staff was so thoughtful and courteous. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything and God bless each of you. I think people should know what a wonderful job you do. If you were a hotel or restaurant you would get 6 Stars!!! I will miss my mom forever, but you made the whole thing a little easier. Thanks again.

Like so many others I was amazed by the service provided by each and every O'Donnell employee. The service at the funeral home itself and the graveside service were wonderful. Distraught with grief, I left the Celebration of David's life feeling uplifted and knowing David would have loved the event. From the love of Minnesota, to the Cardinals, the family and the pups, his grilling and classic cars, the set up all over the room and playing on the walls were perfectly my David. Even the finer details meant everything to the family. If we, the family, could give them 10 out of 5 we would. We also received so many compliments on the service and coworkers said they felt like they knew him better. Thank you JOFH for giving us support, comfort and David's Life Celebration in such an amazing way

Words cannot express to all the staff at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home for all the details of preparing for the funeral of mom! The celebration of life for mom with all the posters, pictures, just the whole set up was just awesome!! You made our difficult time much easier! I am sure mom would be pleased! Mr. O'Donnell I am so impressed by you and your staff. I have no idea how you got all that stuff done in such a short period of time. I can definitely tell you take pride in what you do. You have a spirit of excellence that runs deep in who you are. The sausage biscuits was a fantastic touch, the life stations you set up were perfect, the blanket and pictures will be forever cherished and because of you I enjoyed this day of honoring my dad. I can't thank you enough for making the toughest day of my life easy. I am truly grateful.

James O'Donnell Funeral Home has serviced my family for generations, taking care of many of my loved ones. They have always been very helpful with the utmost respect and care for my loved ones as well as the surviving family. When my mother passed suddenly in 2013, I had no clue how to handle the arrangements. I knew exactly what she wanted so Jimmy walked me through the process and was very understanding. I don't know how I could have done it without him. I can't express enough how much I appreciate all the love and care we received from this family. You won't find better care anywhere else.
